Learning our tools, the toys of sensation play; Basic SM:
An introduction to what it is we do in SM sensation play for the novice who is overwhelmed by the range of skills needed to be a top and a primer for those wishing to get an idea of "what do I do now." Learn about basic SM toys, their construction and uses. There is a lot to SM than is not directly visible in the tools we use, safety, targeting and the areas to strike are important as well as the equipment we use.
Course covers a discussion of basic principals of S&M. A tour of the basic tools and equipment of an SM dungeon and discussion their uses in a scene. As well as hints and secrets on how to construct your own scene, toys and equipment. Includes question and answer period. ideas on household toys and tools and simple home made toys.
Novice D/s Introduction:
A fun and friendly presentation and introduction to what it is we do within the context of Dominant and submissive interaction. An open forum of the ideas and ideals that Headmaster Wolf holds dear to his heart. In this class we discuss such issues as ...
- How do I come across as a Dominant?
- As a Dominant what ideals should I have?

- How to please a Dominant.

This inclusive and open exploration of the "Buffet" of D/s does not lay down ground rules to follow but gives the attendee the "guiding hand" to assist them in defining themselves and their own path. Headmaster Wolf puts forth and deeply believes that there is no "true" form of Dominance and submission but a determination of personal relationship dynamics. In this course Headmaster Wolf seeks to help those attendees to use others paths and definitions for craft their own style and self determination of their D/s interactions.

An exploration of this second most important tool of SM and BDSM play, The open hand. Learn the wide and various ways to get the most use out of your hands. From OTK to the various forms of spanking, from percussion play to punching scenes. Learn how to develop your hand strength and how to get that strength across in a session. Be amazed at the many differing styles and ways to perform a simple hand spanking. Course discusses the various hand positions, full use of all aspects of the hand in sensation play, body manipulation, restraining a person, and the psychological, physiological aspects and the safety aspects of such scenes for both participants.
Under the Lash, techniques of striking sensation; Single tail 102 - Single tail Basics
Join a frank exploration of the fantasy and function of this the epitome of the S&M tools. The full range of use and the psychological and physiological aspects of the single tail whip will be explored in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Whip types and uses are discussed as well as the physical outcome of using a whip on a person and the mental aspects of a singletail scene, safety issues and care of your whip and a demonstration of the various throws and techniques in a session.
Course includes 4 basic throws, " William tell" " Side throw" " Overhand" and "Underhand" as well as the "full wrap" technique and hints and tips on using the whip in a light session. Come with your own whip. Instruction with use of Shadow Academy's tools at the Instructor's discretion
The presentation portion is important and about half the lesson, then through hands on coaching, Headmaster Wolf will work with each attendee on stance, balance, proper movement and style to put them in touch with the natural abilities that reside within them.
Under the Lash, techniques of striking sensation; Advanced Single tail.
This advanced course is aimed at those who wish to continue what they have learned in Single tail 101 and those who have moderate experience with the single tail and wish to hone their skills and learn new techniques. This lesson focus's on direct contact with the subject of your attentions, the marking involved and is for those who wish to journey farther into the realm of sadism and masochism. Attention to the physical and mental effects of SM edge play are addressed.
Course also covers 6 new single and multiple throws including "Rhythm" " Figure eight " " Cross throw" "Double throws" (which allow a constant movement of the whip), the "Ring master/Lion tamer" and "Circus crack" as well as their use in a sensual to severe session, hints and tips on maximizing the affect, reading body language and aspects of setting the proper ambiance.
For those who wish to progress, a demonstration of the Florentine method will also be shown. Two matching short whips needed for practice. Instruction with use of Shadow Academy's tools at the Instructor's discretion.

A fun exploration of these age old tools of correction and discipline, from walking sticks to rattan, from the hazing paddle to bamboo learn how to use these simple but intense tools to the greatest effect. Learn the different types of material available and the structure of a good tool, how to hold your tools for maximum effect and comfort and how fashion your own tools. Ideas for where to find them and how to use them. To what to look for in a good paddle or cane and the traits that make a GREAT paddle or cane.Course will cover good technique with these striking implements, what to look for during and after a session, the psychological and physiological aspects, where to strike and where not to, from Spanking and Corporal punishment to Bastado and intense scene ideas, you would be amazed at the information that can be gleaned about these basic tools of the trade.
Under the Lash, techniques of striking sensation Flogging 104: Flogger Basics
A discussion of the "Open Hand" technique of flogging for those who have just heard of whips and chains and don't know where to start, To those who wish to learn something new about this skill that underlies a great number of our activities.
Course topics covers "Drop throws," "Basic figure eight throws," "Reverse figure eight throws" as well as the full range of use and the psychological and physiological aspects. Differing whips, leathers and weights, and effects as well as setting, music, rhythm and style. Come with your own equipment and questions. Instruction with use of Shadow Academy's tools at the Instructor's discretion.

Under the Lash, techniques of striking sensation; Advanced Floggers
Course covers advanced throws and severe sessions as well as how to get the most from your flogging session, a discussion of safety issues as well as what to look for in a severe session, reading body language, particular signs of deep endorphin space, aftercare, and the psychological and physiological aspects such a session.
Course includes a discussion of the connection in such a scene including the "Power line" concept of power exchange, as well as "check ins" course offers various throws including "Cross over throws" "Full range throws," "Spin throws," "Punching throws" as well as double flogger throws such as "Florentine" and "Rhythm work."

Electric play, the tingles and twinges of electric sex
Own a Violet wand? Know what it does? How it works, this boundary for most is an intense and fun SM tool that is varied in its uses. Find out what toys are available and how to use them safely in a scene. Not a boring discussion of amps and ohms but an exploration of the tools of electric play and how to get the most out of them. Information on where to find these delightful toys, the psychological and physiological aspects of these toys and how to use them safely in a scene.
Course discusses the various uses of Tens Units, violet wands, cattle prods, bug zappers, joke buzzers and other uses of these toys for a wider ranging session. These tools will be available for demonstration and experiencing for the novice to get a taste of the shocking joys of these SM tools A short discussion of their uses in other types of scenes will also be addressed.
Psycho drama, the art of Mind games
How to "fool" your subject into believing what isn't happening really is. Learn the art of the Mind Fuck, Hypnosis and the ability to turn the tables, Learn how to craft a scene to present one thing while staying well within the bounds of safety. Learn all the tips and tricks of the devious Dom or terrifying Top in creating the ultimate fantasy. Delve into the fears and anxieties of your subjects and discuss amateur mind manipulation.
Scenes taught:
- "cutting " without a mark
- "branding" so real you can smell the flesh burn, just not your subjects flesh
- "blind folds and the overactive mind"
- closing down the senses to heighten others
"American Leather " Protocol: Commands and positions
To teach from the Top or learn from the bottom this course teaches the positions and stance of a proper slave. In the American Leather style. Discuss not only how we train in positions, but WHY some do this most elegant form of movement and style, learn to present yourself or your charge in a public setting.
Course discusses what is "inspection?", Why follow formal commands, How positions and commands ad structure to a D/S relationship. What do I get out of this? Learn to take a position and make the transition to the next position fluidly and gracefully, the proper attitude and mindset, the psychological and physiological aspects of learning positioning and to follow structured commands.
Crafting a Scene: how to create a world.
An SM session is the final essence of a Sadist or Dominant and the outward expression of your ideals, ideas and experience. In this course you can take all you have learned and weave it into a session that will leave your subjects gasping for more. Learn about music and lighting, temperature and tools. Learn the tips and tricks to making a scene fluid, seamless and enjoyable for all. All aspects of the actual scene are discussed. Mind set, setup, warm-up, presentation, connection, voice work, acting, role-play, safety issues, dungeon first aid, sex magic, sexual alchemy, ending a scene "Top space" and aftercare are widely explored to give you a strong foundation in being that "perfect" Master.
